Stackdle saves your runs and preferences in your browser so you can return to your tower. Daily scores and placement histories are sent to our server for verification, leaderboards, and tower replays. A sample of tab sessions sends anonymous gameplay diagnostics to our hosting logs: piece types, placement outcomes, the engine’s failure trigger, whether a new or previously held piece failed, and coarse frame-delay statistics during visible play. No player or run identifier, raw frame trace or full placement coordinates are included. These diagnostics help us find pieces, physics and performance that need work.
Browser errors are sent to Sentry to help us fix crashes. Reports contain stack traces and browser context, but exclude saved runs and player identity. Session replay and performance tracing are off.
When analytics are enabled, Google Analytics measures visits, game starts, completed runs, and shares. Microsoft Clarity records interactions with the page to help us understand confusing controls and layout problems. These services receive device and connection information and can use cookies to recognize return visits. Google Analytics does this with a first-party cookie holding a random ID, so we can see how many players come back on later days; it is not linked to your name or email. Google signals and ad personalization are off. We do not send your name or email as analytics events, and Clarity masks text and form input.
Vercel Web Analytics counts page views on the website: the page, the site you came from, and your country, browser and kind of device. It uses no cookie and no identifier, and leaves out the codes in a link. It is off once you say no to analytics, or when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
For visitors detected in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, these tools stay off until you choose “Allow analytics.” Elsewhere they may load automatically. We use the hosting provider’s country estimate to choose this behavior; if the country cannot be determined, analytics stay off. Your saved “No thanks” choice, Do Not Track, and Global Privacy Control are respected everywhere. Choosing “No thanks” does not affect the game.
Successful share actions are also counted on our server by day and share type, The counter database stores no player ID, cookie, or IP address. This aggregate count works with optional analytics off. To stop abuse, the server counts how often each connection sends requests, under a salted hash that changes every day rather than the IP address itself, and clears the counts after about two days.
You can change your choice in the game's Help menu under “Privacy & analytics,” or turn analytics off here. Your saved towers are kept.
